What we do
We raise awareness amongst local businesses of the opportunities and challenges they face and of the range of support that is available.
We provide an easy to use first point of access for any business on any topic and at any stage of their development.
We operate a business model clearly defined as ‘information, diagnosis and brokerage’(IDB)
- We provide information from a variety of sources to ensure that local businesses are up to date with relevant information
- We diagnose needs to give our clients an insight into the opportunities and issues that they face
- We broker expertise and help our clients choose the best provider of support or expertise so as to achieve the greatest value added impact
How we help
Our information and on-line services are designed to help any business, at any stage of their development and on any topic. Information can be accessed by phone, fax, or e-mail, 24 hours a day through our website; or in person at our local access points, situated in the heart of local communities.
Our events programmes, delivered locally throughout the region, offer a wide range of inspirational and best practice subjects.
We deliver them in a range of formats and at a variety of locations, and in conjunction with partners wherever appropriate.
Our Advisor services are carefully targeted on businesses with real growth potential, or with significant importance in their local economy. We work with businesses to improve their growth and competitiveness, whether through
